I have a Bogner 4x12 with V30's and plan to throw them out and put G12H's. I have a choice of buying 70th Ann. or 55 hz Heritages. I've already read there are mixed opinions about 70th Ann. but I can save around 250$ on four speakers if I decide to go with them. What could I gain/lose tonewise with Heritages?

These are a good choice for a Jose inspired amp. Go with a 75hz mix though.

^ This or a quad of Heritage 55c/s.

Yes, it's supposed to match with CCV. Thanks for the info.

It will also give you more crunch without diodes engaged and with the higher value cathode bypass cap selected via the drive switch. I prefer a Jose circuit without diodes engaged and with a little boost. H mags seem to compliment very well.

I just ordered a quad of G12H 55's for my Cornford 4x12 from Avatar. I have my top cab loaded with Alnico golds. If you're going with a mix, consider 2 x 55's and 2 x Alnico gold.
