Anyone try Scumback speakers in a Port City cabinet?

I was going to pick up an old Mesa Boogie half back which has the thiele port on the bottom or a Port City 212 which of course is ported.

The thing that is so great about the Mesa half back is that it has everything, open back top, ported bottom for punch and slant top for better projection. The cab is so darn room filling and 3-D, it is crazy!

The thing is, I hear the Scumbacks sound odd with the thiele ported cabs. :(

So how about the Port City cabs? Better? Unfortunately with the PC, I lose the room filling character of the open back top.

Right now I think I am going to load my Bogner OS212 with M75s.

Thanks all!

I wanna say Pete Thorn uses Port City cabs...could be wrong though. Ask him.

I did found them to be too dark. Had 65w m an h75 in a os 2x12. Sold it to brad. The os has a lot of low end for a 2x12 IMO. Too much for me

The only guy I know who has a Port City cab is Dustie from BTBAM, but his has CelestionG12T75's. He said he loves his cab and I don't blame him, sounds amazing but then again he uses it with a Fractal who's dynamics are highly shape-able.
