Anyone try the Strymon Zelzah

Was curious about this Strymon Zelzah, but as with most Strymon stuff it aint cheap , but looks like it covers some serious phaser/ flanger ground so does anyone have any experience with it and is it worth the price of admission?

I am thinking I need a phaser that can do everything or maybe not???

No experience with that unit but I did have the Orbit flanger for a while. It could do a wide variety of flanging sounds, pretty much anything you wanted. This looks arranged similar to the Orbit. Couldn't say whether they were gig worthy as I only used it for pedal steel clean tones at home. I do believe these are digital so I suspect I wouldn't have liked it for serious work.

Do you run yours in the loop or out front? I'm mostly looking for one for clean tones. Gilmourish and unique type sounds.

I'm curious about this one too. I haven't tried it. The closest Strymon dealer is on the other side of town since our Sam Ash closed. I might make the pilgrimage out there sometime and check it out.

Lord knows you can never have enough phasers.

I run it in the effects loop along with a Strymon El Cap. Sounds awesome for cleans. I've had a bunch of different phasers though the years and this one is my favorite by far.
