Anyone use a gun safe to store guitars?

I've been thinking more and more about getting some type of safe/vault in my home to store some of my custom guitars in case of a theft/fire should occur. Anyone else consider this? I've never had a break-in or have heard of any break-ins occurring in my neighborhood....but I still don't like thought or possibility of someone coming into my home and walking right out with my gear. I was looking at a decent deal on one for $899 (free shipping) at Costco that could probably hold about 4-5 guitars in their cases pretty easily:

Lol...thought about it, but I have WAY more guns than guitars, and they're worth a lot more too...comes down to it, I'd rather they take the guitars. Seems like a viable option though, and that's a decent price. Be aware though, even if it's rated for high temps, they're still wood. Gets hot enough for long enough, they're probably gonna be wrecked anyway.

Yeah, that's pretty much my thinking as well. For me, it'd be more of a deterrent against theft.

My uncles house was hit with lightning and he had fire resistant 2 hr rated safes. All his guns were destroyed except a few that had the gun socks on them.
