Looking to get some feedback on the schaller hannes bridge if anyone has it equipped on one of their guitars.

He said that the reports he's received on people that have used them on projects have been sort of "meehhhhhhhh." Like I said, I want to use it, and I want to love it, but for now I'll let some other people test-drive it before I employ it!

I have seen the light with these & when given the option, will go with the Schaller hannes over just about anything else out there. These really make an impact too I feel when you have a bolt on neck, you feel every note better, the sustain is longer, the response stays tight & the strings seem to intonate & stay in tune better.

I feel like they provide almost "Too much" sustain for neck thru guitars. Like, I play bolt on necks on darn near everything, because, I play heavier music that needs to have tight start/stops, I can always add more sustain to my guitar by fretting differently, a little boost here a little echo there, but pulling that sustain out of a guitar is the hard part & when you need things really tight (which it seems like is the primary reason most of the guys who play the hannes do), the thing makes the guitar so much more lively that on a neck thru it would be super hard to tame that resonance.Juggernaut":371dvdnj said:TIBrent":371dvdnj said:The only ones who are mehhh those things are purists who need standard bridges ( or neck through guys) . Why don't (neck through) guys like them?
Amen to that!Qweklain":16956ksu said:I wish they would stop being uptight clowns (specifically Schaller) and make a damned 7-string version already! There are some who have made a custom piece to add an extra string, but nothing readily available.
