Anyone Using or Used an Antiquity JB?

I have one in an old Charvel Explorer and it sounds really good. Little less high end, more well rounded than the regular JB. I like it a lot. They vary widely in the "aging", so you can get one that is pretty rusty. If you don't like that, get a picture of the actual pickup before buying...

right on. The clips I've heard sound a little more raw and open than a regular JB.

I have a original JB from 1978 wound by seymour himself
the antiquity is "supposed" to be based on this one.
IF it does sound like mine you will love it!
sound much fuller, warmer than the newer production ones and has a woody midrange
here check this out,

Hey Steve,

How would you compare this to a production JB with a 250k pot? I have put that combination in my Charvels to tame the treble a bit. It works really well. So if the antiquity has a little less high end, would the antiquity with a 500k pot be in the same ballpark (compared to a regular JB with 250k pot)? Or is this difference not so significant?
