If so, how well does it track overhead cymbals and hi-hat? I see a lot on it working with toms and snare and kick and less on overheads. I have seen one stereo overhead breakout to samples but they didn't do that much with the cymbals. My plan is that it is looking doubtful that I will build a real recording space/ jam space. I have low volume cymbals and have found a way to dampen my kit with foam pads with the center cut out so I can still generate a tone of the tom at manageable levels. I am thinking throw my mics up and capture it all and then throw it in SD3. But is it worth the 500 bones it costs to do that? I currently have EZ2, I am thinking maybe within my DAW I can convert my mics to a midi track that maps to EZ2 and give it a go but I do like the idea of everything in one in SD3. Also all the kits, it looks impressive. Thoughts?
