Ok, figure this one out...my Roland TD-9 with UM-ONE cable to USB works fine to trigger SD3 and EZ3 in stand alone mode. But when I load up a midi track and assign a virtual drumkit with either of these programs in reaper, I can't get it to trigger. Anyone experience this??
I'm trying to use my e-kit with real cymbals and I want to mic the overheads and snare while recording the midi toms and kick from the triggers. This would in theory allow for everything to line up. A hybrid kit. I just don't like the response of the hats in SD3 and it makes me play less dynamically. I also don't like the crashes all that much.
Any ideas? Take me through whatever you can think of from your respective daws. Reaper seems to recognize the device so I have no idea what's up.
