I read about these in another thread, and wasn't familiar with them at all. Looked it up online, and watched some vids on youtube (Pete Thorn and a couple of others) and I was sold. Just ordered one. I've been through so many attenuators, and had pretty much given up on ever finding anything that that I didn't feel just sucked the soul out of the amp. Do they do what they claim, and live up to the hype?

I watched the vids you mentioned too and it seems to be the best thig going. People on here seem to love it.

I have one. Don't really use as an attenuator though. I use it to power the wet side of my W/D set up

It was your thread on that 74 Marshall that actually led me to get one too. Never heard of it, but it seems to be the shiznit.
Haha me too...with my 72 I've been thinking about one for over a year....seems the only difference is the output section on 1 vs 2, 100 v 50w

I had one and I used it with a 2204. Amazing unit. It gave me complete control over the amp's volume and a great effects loop without me making any mods to the amp. Highly recommended.

I have a PS2 and love that thing. If you like cranking big non-MV amps you NEED something like this imo. Any good load box and power amp will do but having it all in one compact package is really great. I used a Suhr RL into a Rivera Hammer and that was great too.

I use a PS-2 also. It's become indispensable. I only wish it had an on board IR loader... that would make it perfect.

I have a PS2 and it does the job great. I find the load switches and presence/depth controls very useful. I love using the PS2 to play my low watt amps louder!

Sweet! Thanks for all the input. Looks like I made the right choice. Most of my amps are MV, but get blisteringly loud very fast. That being said, I belive that any tube amp just sounds better if you can get the power section involved and this sounds like it'll do the job nicely.

I think that you will be impressed! Sometimes I even use the PS2 with a 5150 III 50W Stealth and I feel like it adds some depth to the tone by being able to run the volume on the amp at noon.

I wish it did to. I am still thinking about picking up a PS100 and a Suhr RL IR.... that way I can still go silent with IR's and RE-Amp... You can do ALOT with that setup.

Used the ps2 live about 6 times to power my helix through a 4x12. Fantastic piece of gear, the feel is excellent

I have the PS100 and also ONLY use it as a power amp for my rack rig.

I have a PS2. Absolutely love it! Opens up so many possibilities with great transparency.

Had the II for about a year and was putting everything through it.

Nothing else in its class IMO if those are the features you need.
The built in loop is so awesome if you switch heads a lot.

I had a PS-100 for a couple of weeks. I ended up going with a Boss TAE and a KSR PA over it because I just liked both of them better, but that's not to say it wasn't nice! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I have a PS-100.
It can do a more than be used as a Reactance Amplifier.

Fryette has several videos on YouTube showing the possibilities. Worth watching.
