+1 on the VHT being thin and crispy. The XMAN doesn't sound thin...punchy...yes...thin...no.
The BMAN by itself sounds a bit wuffy..and dull. I'd rather have the SL w/ lower gain than the BMAN IMHO.

I hate to keep beating this thread to a bloody pulp, but Rich... PM me. If you're describing the "Xman" mod as brittle and thin, it leads me to believe that perhaps something went wrong when you modded it yourself... something doesn't sound right here.
