As awful as Hillary is, the second Trump win was the one that saved the US from the point of no return.
There are some great conservative leaders that have emerged. That wasn't really the case in 2016. Meanwhile the Democrats have leaders with terrible track records (Newscum) and many that are just fools. But with the media on their side, you can't rule them out.

It will be good for the country to have a leader that isn't stirring the pot all the time. I do like Trump's policies for the most part but he creates a lot of issues by driving the left insane. I think JD would be much of the same. He's super smart and articulate but he also likes to push the left's buttons.
I think Marco is equally smart but would be less petty.

Assuming you're talking about Marco Rubio here? I dont know jack shit about politics and I think the polarization over the last decade is disgusting.

I dont associate with people in real life who's personality is nothing but politics. Willfully ignorant I am happy to be.

Anyway, about Rubio whatever happened to him?

I could very well be imagining things here but I remember this because I thought it was extremely odd. After Obama won the presidency the TV I was watching cut out from the Obama celebration and cut in to a Marco Rubio speech? Weird as fuck, probably paid for with quite a bit of money. The speech consisted of how awesome he would do and touched on everything that anyone was against Obama would have agreed with.

Even though it was weird, paid for and yes a popularity contest I thought he could potentially do better than the 40 years of ass clowns we have had in office.

So I noticed he was running, doing OK perhaps and then out of nowhere he vanished and dropped out? After years of preparation? People like that just dont drop out off their life's work. Something happened, what was it?

Marco Rubio is currently the National Security Advisor and currently is #2 in odds of being the 2028 nominee right behind JD Vance. I wouldn't call that "just vanishing"

He vanished out of nowhere last running when Trump took over nominee. Was curious why. Probably money.
 
I think Rubio is going to be the candidate in 2028, he is way more active than JD Vance, at least as I see it. Maybe JD Vance is active but not covered by media as strategy to reduce his chances.

Either of them will get smashed by even a generic dem like Newsom or Mark Kelly. Vance has negative charisma and Little Marco is just a basic neocon. Trump was an anomaly.
