Someone mentioned that the PCB boards might be wired 50's vintage style. Is that correct?

I don't think so but don't know 100%. Guitar in question is a 2014 Standard.

Thanks RT

If I did happen to acquire a LP with a circuit board, it would be going in trash on day one and rewired.

And that's exactly what I did. Problem is my tech wired it 50's style and I prefer modern style.

Easy fix but needs to be addressed.

He suggested that the PCB board was wired 50's style but I didn't think so. Prior with the PCB board and stock pickups the roll off volume got dark and dirty like I prefer. Since he thought it was 50's style wiring he wired the new pickups and pots that way. At first I didn't notice it at full volume but once I rolled it down it was too bright.

I just didn't know how the PCB boards are wired.

PC boards? In a guitar???!!!!

Next thing you know they are going to start putting automatic tuners on their guitars....
