Do these look like Rectifier/oversized 4X12 cabs or Stiletto/Traditional?

Those are Myles Kennedy's cabs from Alter Bridge by the way...

Correct me if I'm wrong but is there any difference? I just thought they got new names... :/

If I recall, the Roadster and Stiletto are basically the same except one of them have white piping. The Recto's are in fact different in shape (bigger). As far as the picture, not absolutely sure...but, I'd guess Recto.

The bottom looks oversized to me, but the top looks to be a standard.

The only thing that's changed is the Traditional cabs are now called Stiletto cabs. They are the same cab.

I agree. If you look at how far apart the speakers are on the bottom cab, you can tell it's a Recto/oversized cab.
Pretty sure the top one is a Stiletto cab because the speakers are much closer together.

If that's true then the bottom cab should be wider by 3/8 or 1/2. The pic was taken from too far away to see that small of a difference though. In fact, now that I think of it the speakers might only look like they're closer together on the top cab because of where the camera is.

They both look like Rectifier (oversized) cabinets to me. I think the angle at which the picture was taken is playing tricks on your eyes.

Oh, ok........well that's news to me.

And the only difference between the two cab styles is height AFAIK. Depth and width and wiring are all exactly the same.

You're right and wrong. The bottom is oversized. Which was called Standard. The top is the smaller one which was called Traditional and is now the Stiletto.

No, the width is a bit different between the two:

Traditional/Stiletto- 29 7/8" Wide

Standard/Recto-30 1/8" Wide

Recto is also a bit taller, but both have the same depth of 14 1/4". The extra height and width of the recto and the fact that the speakers are further apart is what gives it that modern scooped out tone.

I've found that small differences like that are usually because one dude measured the width of the cab while another one measured the width including the corner caps.

To me, they both look like they're Standards (oversized). The top cab is taller than it is wide... if it was a Traditional the height/width would be the same.

No sir, the traditional/Stilettos are also taller than they are wide. And those measurements do not include corner caps. Those are the actual exact measurement from side to side. Recto cabs are a bit wider which makes up part of the sound.

I've run a two cab rig with my buddy's Stiletto cab on top of my Recto 212 and I've compared them at shops also. But don't take my word for it, ask a Boogie rep and they'll tell ya the same. ;)

I just measured my Recto 4x12. It's 29-7/8 wide at the wood and 30-1/8 at the corner caps. I can take pictures if you'd like....
