My Husband had built his brother a pedal board like the Pink Floyd guy's (I should probably know his name, but I don't :ROFLMAO:) and we bought him a Strat with a shortened trem arm since that's what he's into. He only wanted the strat and a couple of the pedals, so I took a few things from the pedal board including that and gave the rest to my kids to split up. I usually only ever use it with my synths. :ROFLMAO:

I tend to pick out a bunch of shit I like for example I'll teach myself a shit ton of Soundgarden songs, play the fuck out of them for a couple weeks then I forget about them and start writing riffs and weird shit in those fucked up tunings, then move on to something else. Maybe I think about an old song or hear one on the radio, switch to standard or Eb and I end up forgetting how to play the cool ass Soundgarden songs I learned.

It's totally different now than it was when I had a band. Back then I would pick out guitar and bass to songs and teach the guitar parts to my guitar player. We played that shit so often and gigged nearly every weekend and no matter what we played at least once a week. Had about 8 hours of shit to play so if a crowd wasn't into the real heavy shit we could slip into some AIC or Everclear or Offspring or whatever. I played a couple hours a day, every day. I don't know tab, always played by ear. I was a much better player then just based on the shear amount of material I could whip out on demand. I disbanded that outfit about 10 years ago though and now I just fuck around. Work on some shit of my own or just wank off. All the bands I started prior to that cover band were original music, but I got sick of not making any money so....

How's that "album" you've been working on for years coming along? :ROFLMAO: Where do you find the time to do any of those things and play make pretend on a guitar forum all day everyday, Tiny Tim Giacomo?
