I quit played shread about 15 years ago. I was a a gig recording the introduction to a TV show. When I listen back to the takes I realized there was too many notes. It ended that day. Never again.

I like listening to it occasionally. But completely lose interest in less than three minutes.

I still work on technique. But most of the time I work on writing songs. I usually write several in a week.

It really comes down to what I want to hear. I much rather hear songs in the traditional sense.

Virtually all the songs are about two minutes long. If there is a solo it is going to be about ten seconds.

I don't meet anyone that wants to hear anything else.
