I've been checking out the Teese Rmc8, it sounds promising & tweekable. I play single & hummers & need to cover all bases.

I have the RMC 3 FL, you can set it up to have a good wah for high gain. Much better than the dunlops i had.

The Teese stuff is sounding pretty good to me, but the price is a bit of a put off. They have a lot of traditional voiced wahs and 2 or 3 more tweekable modern models. I need something extreme & intense, if money weren't a consideration I'd seriously consider the reissue EMB Remote. I'm gonna check out the CEA.

I ordered an Teese RMC10 with the intent of selling my Fulltone Clyde Deluxe. I've since discovered the 'fuzz friendly' output buffer works great for high-gain. I was a bit baffled by it at first, since I was approaching it from a boost perspective... I set the internal pot to 3:00, turned the buffer on, and then backed-off on the buffer output vs turning it up... Sounds fabulous! I still want the RMC10 for my Guytron GT20 and Vox AC30 rigs.

I've decided I'm not getting a wah until I'm ready to go with the EMB, it just destroys.

At $799.00, you just know Zachman has one on his pedalboard... ;)

This one sounds very good, I like the grainy mids, crisp, and seems not too bright,
but very pricey, is it true bypass?

I really liked the MC404. Boost feature is pretty cool along with dual inductors. They say its true bypassed, but my tone was noticeably brighter with it deactivated in the lineup. Seemed to me the sweep peaked out fairly early with what felt time a good chunk of range left in the pedal. Still a bad ass wah though, and very feature laden.

The Area51 is pretty incredible for high gain solos. I have one without all the bells and whistles and it's my favorite wah (I've used Budda, RMC, and numerous Vox and Dunlops in the past).

not to hijack the thread but besides the Dunlap 95Q, are there any other switchless wahs that sound good (besides the Morley stuff). Also, what is the difference sonically with the 595Q vs the 95Q?
