Aric Improta from Night Verses is a BEAST!

This is one of the drummers to watch IMO.

It’s rare that I hear a band and the drumming sticks out as much as this band. I got curious after hearing a few tunes and went on YouTube and watched some videos and damn this dude is a monster! What a killer drummer, and the guy hits hard as fuck. This dude could be the backbone of any good metal/prog rock band. Super humble dude too from the interviews I’ve seen. I saw an interview that said he has to wear those ear muffs because he hits so hard he broke his ear drum

How the fuck did he get beat in the GC drumoff?

I did notice these guys used to have a vocalist though and he sucked ass. Hopefully they just keep this instrumental lineup. From the gallery of sleep is bad ass.

Yeah dudes fun to watch. There’s a bunch of drum clinic type videos of him on YouTube just crushing it. I always felt like elite or distinctive drummers were few and far between compared to other musicians.

Different strokes, I think these guys kick ass honestly. I dont know if you checked out the entire album but if you do I think you might change your mind. IMO thats one of the best prog albums I’ve heard in a minute. Doesn’t sound like the same cookie cutter bullshit like 1000 other bands.

Yeah that dudes money, like impeccable timing. There’s a stupid amount of cool videos of him gaping the drums on YouTube.

Yeah I watched a guitar rig video and he had a few pedals that were out of the ordinary but other than that the chain was pretty basic. I think he was playing Blackstar amps live, he sounds pretty good through them though in every video I’ve seen. Killer band

I'll check it out. I just listened to what was posted, (all 3 videos). Drummer is definitely off the chain, the music was kinda boring. I'll check out a full album.
