Great amp! I picked one up a few months ago off ebay. 1 month old and in new condition for ~$600. I crank it through a recto 2x12 and it sounds HUGE.

Good job, sounds great! When I played this amp I rocked it thrash style and loved it, but the mid gain rock vibe you demoed was great.

Ya that's what I know. The heavy stuff is there I'm just not aware of how to really demo it. I was surprised because it did the mid gain to gain rock. Thought it was just a dgent amp

It comes with 6l6 but it can run anything. I dig a pair of 34's and a pair of 6v6's!

Thanks 4 the clip. Playing is great! Definitely like the amount of as it seems usable* gain with this amp. If I had a wish it would be to have the mids jump out a bit more, wondering if the el34s mentioned would help with that or would you say this amps voice is more in the lower mids. Seemed to me when you cranked the gain the bass was more noticeable? Maybe my ears deceive me. Definitely sounded tight even when adding that gain and low end. Amp is pretty impressive for the price. And even at the price it was when it was introduced to the market. Thanks

The mids can do exactly what you want. If the eq and the mid shift are used it's mega mids!

This was the demo that convinced me to get the Armageddon last year. It really shows the full range, including the brutalz. The really heavy tones come in around 4:00.
