The United States Army has officially raised its enlistment age limit to 42 from 35 and eased restrictions for people with marijuana convictions, a move that comes years after a period in which it struggled to meet its recruitment goals and as the country is engaged in a war with Iran.

A front line is a front line. Has no boundaries.
Theres plenty who been there and lived another day. Others weren't that fortunate

Its unconditional serving what matters and im not talking about the burgers you hand out at McDonald's
Let me guess, you were at My Lai?

I served 83 to 87. E5 USN
I saw no action nor even came close.
thankfully.
But if it did come down we all were as trained and ready as can be.
Ah, so you saw no action but are happy that young folks today may go to the slaughter.

No. I said the country needs to reinstate the draf to get these kids off the streets and net.
So don't go putting words in my mouth.

I wish no one to see war. Not even this one
Wars don't settle anything
But sometimes its a necessary evil to get rid of terrorism and dictatorships

Just like the US got rid of communism in Korea and Vietnam, got rid of the Taliban in Afghanistan, and the War on Drugs eliminated drugs...it's going great...

This one is wayyyyy different. No political interference

And by the way Vietnam was reunified iirc in 1988 and is a thriving country.
Look where your Marshalls are now made as well as much of your clothing and disposable items

This wouldn't have been possible without going in

You seem like a guy who'd pick up a guitar and then act surprised when you maybe get a blister on your little finger, maybe get a blister on your thumb. Every job has hazards.

Ok...have Lindsey Graham and the rest of them go to boot camp and they can fight the war as they seem easily ready to send out kids there.
