that's why I posted the let me google it for you link; the basic definitions are relatively consistent, but to understand you have to go deeper and define/understand words such as prejudice, preconceived, etc.

because words have meanings.

The definition I offered didn't state anything about prejudice or preconception.

If we want to deep dive into the topic I’d say pretty much everyone in the world is at least bigoted toward their own race. Black people being “ Proud” is no different than white people being “ Proud”.

My personal feelings are that almost all people of most races suck. I’m most “ Proud” of the race of which I have the least amount of blood in me.

My experience with black people is unfortunately mostly working in black neighborhoods where I was shot at and where my friends and co workers were murdered. The black folks down where I live are normal folks like everyone else though. Mostly positive experiences with Mexicans and Asians.

Maybe it’s like Don Corleone said. I wish them well, long as their interests don’t conflict with mine.

words have meaning.

in the end, if a statement is based on facts, truth, statistics, etc. and is racial in nature it is not racist; just because you are offended by it, disagree with it, etc.

just like math.

Sub-Saharan is not a race. Show me where that term has ever been used to refer to a race of people.

It refers to a geographic area. A place in Africa where the people in the video ancestors originated.

There is no such thing hate speech… only speech you hate.

I did not stereotype an entire race of people as you claim. Learn how to read. Just the specific group in a video.

Go find some other social injustice to fight.

I didn't claim it. That's why I asked you to clarify.

I claimed, and stand by the claim, that people generally use the term as a proxy for "Black African".

You guys seem really defensive about being considered racist.

I support freedom of speech and thought. It is a private forum though, so some restrictions apply. I haven't called you a racist either, just noting that you seem defensive about it. But I'm pretty confident "Sub-Saharan" is a proxy for black African. Just a heads up.
