That's not nice.

On the face of things I would say people should be allowed to judge a book by its cover :dunno:

Do you stop playing nice and call someone out on their "matter of fact" bs? Let's say for example that you're highly knowledgeable regarding a particular subject, and someone keeps speaking about it as if they're an expert, though it's obvious that their knowledge goes about as far as a couple of wiki articles and a half hour documentary hosted by Morgan Freeman. They also tend to bring out the thesaurus to come off as more intelligent and/or credible than they are. Do you continue to play along and remain silent? Just laugh it off and let them keep making themself look like an ass? What's the proper etiquette without coming off like a bitch or worse a "matter of fact know it all," too?
Right now. Rip the band aid off…

Right now. Rip the band aid off…

Remember that scene in True Lies where Bill Paxton was talking about Arnold's wife and he just kept going on and on?
That's how kind of how I feel about ripping the band-aid off :ROFLMAO:

This is people on forums and social media.

I've lost count on how many times I've typed a response to a question here on RT, only to delete it since I didn't feel like dealing with other "experts" or someone who wont accept the correct answer the first time. Sad but true.

My daughters friends dad is a know it all.
Will even google answers to prove his point. Then talk down to me.
I push back somewhat but avoid the arguments to keep the peace.

For instance. He says he didn't vote for Biden. He voted against Trump

I tell him he should have just stayed home. Look at the mess he made

Then he tells me its good the migrants are coming in.
They'll do the work Americans wont.

I tell him why should our taxes pay for it.
Theres of them enough here already to work.
Just adding to the unemployment numbers

Goes on and on like that
Low T. Many such cases.
