There's a great condition Chup 100 at the Marietta GC. It was my first time getting to play one in person and it is a beast. The Plexi tones sound and feel awesome and the higher gain tones were Marshallgasmic.

That was mine....the infamous "ChupaCameron"....yeah, that one, the one Mark modified! Killer amp.

Was it you who glued on the ceriatone badge? Quite a lot of glue there.

What did Cameron do to it? did you have it modded by him or did you buy it as modded by him?

Ha..I actually had a Marshall logo on it (take a peek at my avatar), I just brought the Ceriatone logo in with me, can't say what they did to it though lol!

Had the mids be made a bit more chewy and brought down the overall brightness of the amp, that's it. Mark signed the chassis, so whomever nabs it will see that and if they know the legend (lmao) will either freak out or possibly frown as he supposedly walked away with a lot of $$$$ and unfinished biz....but lord, please don't let that drama start up here again. The amp sounds incred, that should be all that matters, it was to me.

Wow, that was brighter stock? It has some glorious tones in it but also could get pretty obnoxious in the upper mids depending on how it was set. You could almost say the mids at times were a little "weird". Or as more commonly known in the wild, Splawnish..... :D

I was giving it serious consideration but they have it tagged for super close to what a new one would run you and the King Kong looks pretty interesting. On the Chup, with the toggles that amp was a rabbit hole of possibilties.

Exactly...it's a bright mutha!!!! Even AFTER the tweaks!! Stock Chupas are bright, make no mistake. I ran mine through G12H30 55hz Blackbacks, so it always sounded balanced enough for me.

I hear ya, they gave me a GREAT buy price, so I was quite happy. FWIW, I took great care of it, no gigging, smoke/pet free home use only. Someone will stumble onto it and grab it quick. ONLY reason I sold it there quick was because a Friedman SB50 landed in my lap and I couldn't pass the chance up...and my god, the tones in this thing, well, it made the decision easier.
