I been trying to make myself want a hollowbody ii but it's not really working. They sound and look decent I guess but not really that 335 like and I don't like the one piece bridge on the import. A stop tailpiece lets me slack the tension for those neo-soulful bends. The PRS version needs the same 16" body with the PRS signature scallops on some mickey mouse-esque fat ears. Done. Use the lightweight bowel tuners, the bird inlays, and your hollowbody ii pickups. Wide-fat neck with the beefy heel. And two volume two tone please or it's a deal breaker. You sold me short on the hollowbody ii with only two controls. That dawg don't hunt. Give me a center block, a ten top, and a weekend @SmuggNorris sailing vessel and together we will move some sweet axes. Me and Smugg are waiting for you to take our money. Smugg I know you are friends with Paul on a personal level so maybe you could forward this to him. You aren't the only one who wants this bro. Private reserves and neo-soul 4 evah!!!

I've discussed it with him a time or two in the past. He's waiting on the governments of the world to turn their heads so he can pay migrant children pennies per hour to harvest cocobolo and some trees from the rainforest. The combined heartbreak and sadness of the indigenous tribes make for the sweetest of tones.

I wish I had his number. I've wanted a HB II for a long time, but have never pulled the trigger,
and now all the nice ones are way out of what I want to spend.

Yes and if I was gonna spend it then it better be a 335 shape with Paul's take on scalloping the ears. It needs gold hardware too in order to piss of TGP members.
 
I'm just gonna send emails and make phone calls until they do this. I should get a hollowbody ii and then start making comparison videos with ES guitars about why PRS really needs to up their game with this. I was thinking about a pair of safety glasses to wear in the demo vids.
