ATTENTION: This is the Sharvell-Dan sub forum now

There needs to be a containment thread for him so he can just shitpost in there without shitting up the entire forum.
I would like to see his shitposts merged into one thread since he is posting multiples everyday and they are all the same "dRump" stuff.

@Monkey Man probably needs something to do since the biggest jerk is mostly posting in the correct sub forums now.

dayum, like 90% of the threads are Dan TDS threads, lol.

EDIT: if he actually had positions he could express, with actual arguments, it might actually be interesting. Instead it's elementary school insults or gifs. It's all propaganda, I almost wonder if he was getting paid by USAID. :p

Can't say I am paying much attention to his threads, but the one on tariffs is correct. Importers (And ultimately consumers) actually pay tariffs, not foreign governments or the exporters in those countries. This is a technical point aside from whether or not tariffs are a good idea, but I am pretty sure that Trump or others are claiming that foreign governments or businesses pay them. ...It's worth noting that the income tax was originally sold as a means to eliminate tariffs, and the rich were the only ones that were to be subject to it!

Dude, you people claiming this shit are seriously misleading people. Are you doing it on purpose ? Probably. If the exporters and foreign governments weren't significantly impacted by tariffs they wouldn't give a fuck about it.

I didn't say they weren't impacted. If foreign businesses can't eat the cost and the consumers can't/won't pay increased prices they they lose the business — that's why exporters don't like tariffs but domestic industry does. But regardless, the importers technically pay the tariffs, and most likely that means higher prices for consumers/end users.

Sorry, you're wrong. It raises prices for the consumers and if they can't pay it or the foreign businesses can't eat the cost they they lose the business — that's why they care. But again, the importers actually pay the tariffs.
Sir Donnie of San Diego was unironically for tariffs

We have to disagree and I need to call you a lefty soy boy while you refer to me as a Trump tard. We need to have these intense arguments or we aren't actually real Americans arguing about politics. This is the 21st century and I am tired of your reasoned discussions. How about a little aggro to prove your patriotism?

Hope you been well. Good to see you around brougham.

I'm staying out of the debate of whether tariffs are a good idea or not. I think they can be, especially if Trump follows through on reducing or eliminating the income tax (Can you imagine that?! 🙏)

I do hope Dan takes a break...

Good to see you too bro.

Look at the bigger picture. If you have kids, you should be stoked with the direction of the country. We are bringing manufacturing back to the US, and in certain sectors, we absolutely need it beyond economics. Short term pain, long term gain

edit: he has almost $3 trillion in investments since he took office.

  • UAE - $1.4 trillion
  • Saudi Arabia - $600 billion
  • Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) - $500 billion
  • NVIDIA - $100 billion
  • Softbank/OpenAi/Oracle (as part of Stargate) - $100 billion
  • Taiwan Semiconductor - $100 billion
  • Johnson & Johnson - $55 billion
  • Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) - $27 billion
  • CMA CGM Group - $20 billion
  • Merck (NYSE: MRK) - $1 billion
  • GE Aerospace - $1 billion
  • Hyundai - $20 billion

He's a Bonamassa hater (big surprise) and he blocked me after I told him to suck a bug when he was complaining about JB on the same "dRump" level.
he's definitely had me blocked. I've even commented positively in his "vintage" attenuators threads. He never replies, lol. It's a matter of time before he lets the "smoke" out.

This has always been my view of the end game with tariffs. Whether it works or not, we will have to wait and see. But sitting around and just living the status quo of this country was no longer an option. You can't expect the pearl clutching pre-programmed liberals to act accordingly though.

I think he's the only one I have on ignore. Should I un-ignore him? Am I missing some entertainment?
