Hey guys, I'm looking to add one of these types of pedals to my board to funk up my sound (mainly for bass, but guitar too). I have a DOD envelope filter, but the thing drives me nuts, because any change in instrument/amp level and the pedal seems to react differently, meaning you constantly have to adjust its settings. Is there another reasonably priced (under $200) pedal you guys would recommend? Q-Tron? Digitech Synth Wah? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Happy weekend! Cheers,

I love my EHX Bassballs for bass. Auto-wahs tend to react differently to input signal. That's why I like them. A stronger input makes a wider wah sweep. Play softly, and it's not as big of a sweep. Most auto-wahs do that, but some have settings to control the extent.

I just got a Digitech Bass Synth Wah in a trade, and I haven't used it much. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. PM me if you're interested in it and maybe we can work something out.
