Hey guys, in the market for a custom LP. Max budget FREE. Average/decent tone, slim taper, ringing bells and haunting mids. MUST be hand crafted by ground dwelling dwarfs w/ pointy red hats and no less than 1 years build time. Any recos much appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. NO NEGATIVITY PLZ THX

Epi FTW. Use the rest to get a new amp or cab. JK. I'd look at Tokai. Fuck Gibson unless you can run the racks to find a good one.

I'm not really an LP guy so I can't help you but I am in the market for a cheap pointy metal shredder. Something with a Floyd Daisy. No whammy bar to keep the weight down please. Speaking of weight, I hear plywood is light. Not looking for tone or resonance. I'm looking for brootalz. Super flat neck, like the Earth. Humbucking single coil would be great. Less weight and I hear too much copper is bad for the environment. Non locking tuners or nuts. Who wants locked nuts? No paint or poly preferred. Budget: $199

What you want Sir is a BC Rich bronze series and a set of genuine imitation low gain bare knuckoffs from the the finest of winders at AliExpress. Hand wound by those with an average experience level of 20 years, yet still in their early 20s! That's devotion and love for the craft if you ask me.

I know that you said no negativity, but what other kind of Dwarves build guitars other than red hat ground dwellers? This feels like a fake WTB add because of that remark, to be honest. Thanks for wasting my time. I thought you were a serious buyer.

Good God stay quiet man!!! The gnomes will hear!!! ?
I was vindicated because the d-bag with the LP copy I bid within 100 bucks of his asking price must've had his deal fall through as now it's listed within 50 bucks of what I offered. I thought about making a burner reverb account just to buy it as his asking price and never pay since he couldn't just give me a response to my offers. He probably posts on this site.

japanese guitar building became on par with the U.S. around 78 or so I've read. I have a hangup and will not buy a japanese copy that's a bolt on neck. I fellow forum member that I have mucho respect for told me to stay away from the bolt on's. They might be killer...just saying what I was told. The price on these guitars is getting dumb now for some reason but there's still deals. I have an 80's greco John Sykes with a Kahler model and it fucking slays. My stepfather had a fancy looking Ibanez artist from the 80's and it was a certifiable les paul killer. I was a rookie back then but that thing was amazing. High school buddy wound up with it and to this day he raves about that guitar. Regrets getting rid of it. I'm looking for a randy rhodes model next. Also interested in a yamaha studio lord also. Just very underrated guitars. Back in the day you could not have given me one. My how times have changed....lol...

It changed my mind about bolt on necks. I don't think it means jack once you hit the stage. I still won't buy a bolt on LP though, lol.

That exact guitar was for sale on reverb a few years ago for 4k. Almost something I would consider if I had the chance.

@JackBootedThug

Nothing wrong with a bolt on neck.
Folks will spend stupid crazy money for a vintage fender all with bolt on necks.

Tonal wise i never heard a difference

Plus if the HS cracks or something goes warp crazy.....$200 for a new neck and 1 hour fix :)
