HEY...!!!

I just I let all you snapperheads (      ) know about a blowout on the J-Rocket "Alien Echo" analog/tape delay pedal on MF!

They were $280 and were blowing them out at $159 last week and i got one... KILLER PEDAL, delay is nice and sweet and built like a tank!

It landed last Thursday and I had the weekend to try it out and I am VERY satisfied...

Now they have dropped the price to $104 bux and I just called and got a $54 credit back because of the new lower price.

If you like that killer tape delay/bucket brigade style tone this is a smooth pedal... The tone knob is really handy to change the decay sound of the delay decay...

Totally smokes my Memory Man TT-1100 I just got in about 6 weeks ago and am now dumping.

No tap feature on the Alien Echo but for $104 bux like who cares...The tone is Amazing and the price is a no brainer.

 Thanks, Mosh!

Always down for trying a new delay/tape delay...especially when the price is right. Ordered.

I grabbed one for fun. If I don't like it I can always sell and pass on the deal to someone else.

I spent a some fun time with it tonight myself with mine...

I love the tone knob at 3:00 with a 50/50 mix and my Carl martin plex-tone lo-gain in the mix with the neck pup on eric johnson strat... can entertain myself for a good while with my boomerrang looper.

I got one..is there volume loss in loop? Haven't tried with both my amps yet

Anyone know how these sound with high gain and not in the loop?

I got one... I think it's too dark. If I were able to add some high end, I'd keep it. I'm returning it. Looks like it is discontinued as well. Must not have been too popular or liked.

For the record, my Echoplex and Space Echo aren't as dark as this delay.

Yeah my chandler sounds very present and great in my Naylor and this kinda dark. I dont have my slo with loop mod but might work there. Geez thanks Mosh:). You think I need the receipt it came with for return? Would also be a candidate for cool mods.
Nothing special in front of amp btw. There are cool sounds in there its just not working in my particular Naylor loop

Yeah a little better in modded slo loop with level but still my others are less dark and more present. I think I'm gonna return mine too even though only $109

I don't use fx loops, I use it in the front of a JTM 45 and Fender combo and I honestly really think it sounds great in the front, very analog and jus tthe right amount of wamrth and dark repeats if you want.

All my gain comes from pedals before the tape echo, I use it for clean and light crunch with my carl marx plex tone "lo-gain" pedal and its really good...

Pedal makers are always discontinuing pedals or releasing new versions...

JHS kills me with this. all their best pedals are like on version 3 or 4 these days and it really dosent seem like they were released all that long ago...

FWIW... I auditioned the echoplex and I did not think it did the cool tape delay thing like the Alien Echo did...

The tone knob makes it awesome for the repeats to be bright or dark and dirty somewhat

I use my strymon dig for the clean delays that match my input signal...

I just dumped my memory man TT1100 for being too clean and not warm enough for my tastes. The alien was better for what I was looking for.

I dont use fx loops or amp with built in gain anymore... I get everything tone wise from in front of a clean amp, probably why I like this pedal? who knows... lol
