They were a huge huge influence on my love for hard rock and metal after I realized there were bands other than KISS in the late 70sI could talk about AC/DC forever lol

Angus gets a lot of mileage out of those blues scales. Plus his phrasing, vibrato and dynamics are all top notch. His solos are often like little songs within the song. I’m honestly not the biggest AC/DC fan but Angus is a legend for good reasonI love every album . Love his style
He use to shred a lot modally on let there be rock and Powerage . It sucks he stopped that . This he did Phrygian on the Razors Edge introAngus gets a lot of mileage out of those blues scales. Interesting. I don't even have those albums. Always preferred the first three Brian Johnson ones.He use to shred a lot modally on let there be rock and Powerage . It sucks he stopped that . This he did Phrygian on the Razors Edge intro
Check out the intro to the Razors Edge . He shreds the Phrygian scale hard on intro . The most unAngus lick ever lol . Spanish flamenco turned metal . Not very rock at allInteresting. I don't even have those albums. Always preferred the first three Brian Johnson ones.
The tour program on the ‘81-‘82 tour was actually a fold out type poster with an image very similar to that gatefold pic from the FTATR albumHave this hanging up in my jam area
Best pic ever. Those who know it. Will recognize it. ?

And turning up the amp. Lots of natural sustain when your amp is being pushed.Bon was so cool up there too.. total natural. Amazing tone. Was this before the Schaeffer wireless unit boost era? Either way he didn't need a pedal to sound great. .... don't say it! Don't you dare!! ...... F I N G E R S
