This is a pretty AWESOME Video Michael Schenker, Francis Buchholz and Herman Rarebell Rehearsing in a very small room.
I don't know if this has been posted before but it is KILLER

I posted it, but it's so badass it never gets old. You know there is more footage of this rehearsal.

The Scorpions are one of the most underrated bands in history, even more so in my opinion because they came out of Germany where there was barely a scene back then. So much talent in that band over the years. I mean for one band to have Uli Jon Roth, Michael and Rudolph Schenker, and Mattias Jabs!!!

My high school years were spent in Germany and needless to say, we listened to alot of Scorpions stuff. I'll never forget driving across Germany in a bus towards Austria and listening to "World Wide Live" on my Walkman. Such great music. That early stuff with Uli is pretty badass too. I have Tokyo Tapes on vinyl and it is amazing to think they did all of that and then got to the heights they did with the other stuff.

Wow! That was amazing!

Always a fan of these guys! Schenker is such a great player!

Rocking the DSL... its amazing how a good bass player can fill things out with a 3 piece

Many bands would learn a thing or two from these guys.

Did you guys ever notice Michael rarely, I mean rarely ever uses his pinky? 3 finger charlie

I did and his thumb is almost always over the top of the neck.

one of my all time favs.
He was his own worst enemy for a good chunk of years there... glad hes got himself in working order and is consistently active again.

Yeah, that's pretty badass! Dude's chops/feel are in good form, happy to see it. Awesome jam!

Oh yeah, the bass sounds awesome on there. Cool to see Doogie in there a bit too.

Yeah, I remember that. Man, that was a horrible period. He was so hooked on drugs that I remember him losing his family, home, etc. and he wasn't doing anything at all. I had got his solo album right before that (the one where his hair is spiked and he has a beard, wearing sunglasses) and seemed like soon after that he plumetted.

For him to be touring and recording again is awesome and even better, to have reconnected with all of the Scorpions from his past on stage.

I know a guy from here in detroit who was in a band who had some success in the 80's, and toured with some big name acts.
He told me MS was his favorite guitarist until his band opened up for MSG in the 80's. he said at the time MS was addicted to opioids, specifically liquid morphine, and was a total prick to everyone in sight. He said, when he got home from the gig, he was so pissed, he threw all his MSG records out into his front door into the snow.

He was reportedly even living in Mexico with literally nothing. He was super fucked. Glad he survived that but dude definitely has some demons.

Was the guy you know David from Seduce?

I saw MSG open for Boston? Back in the mid 80’s I think it was. They sounded good. Dude had some long ass hair.
