how much for the sykes? tell me about the strat also, please.

Not selling the Sykes actually... I was just being a wise ass because I'm not getting any nibbles on the Kramer or PM...

The strat is a Nash strat with Lollar pickups. It is a clone of a '57 Strat with a medium relic job. I put on a period correct Fender logo... I wouldn't sell it either...

I would honestly consider offers on anything but the two you asked about and would only sell one guitar...

What's the story on this thing?

I had a white Charvel-clone that looked just like that....when I cut my finger on a broken beer bottle at a gig. Wasn't as pretty the next day though.

HA!

It just has a blood splatter paint job like some of the old Charvels. It is made from Jamerson/musikraft parts. Ridiculous flame on the neck and striped ebony fretboard. Great axe - here are a few more pics... Would maybe let it go for the right price...

Nice. I really liked the look of the checkered guitar for some reason.

Yeah, it is a really nice Wayne guitar with the original "bottle opener" headstock. Suhr Aldrich pickups, original Floyd, locking tuners. Nice birdseye on the oil-finished neck. The body is solid alder. The top is really pieces of wood cut out to look like a checkerboard and glued together. Since the body itself is solid, the thing sounds great. Would possibly let it go, but it ain't gonna be cheap. The body alone built and finished like that would cost you $1K from Wayne Guitars new... I'd say I'd let the guitar go for $1900...

I want that Strat Steve

:gethim: :gethim: :gethim:

Can't do it bro... I need a strat and a LP. I also, of course, need superstrats, but I've got several of those that cover similar territory. I can afford to give one up...

Nash is really pumping out those Strats now though and they are very consistent (I've played like 6 or 7 now) - you could buy one new for $1600-$1750 depending...

You could always sell something later. ;)

Hey - I'm sure you could sell some piece of gear you're not using as much to afford my PeaceMaker, couldn't ya? ;)

Sure, but I just don't roll that way, man - I am at my gear limit and I only buy when I get rid of something of the same or great value...

I hear ya. I usually buy to try and then I'll sell whichever I don't like. I usually have the cash on hand to buy first. I have to do this since I never get to try cool gear out in person at the crate/peavey/ibanez stores around here.

I just bought a used standard and the tremoverb or the standard will have to go at the end of the trial. I wish I could keep both though as I love the tremoverb, and I think I'll really like the Axe-fx.

I dunno man... I think you should just trade me the Axe-Fx standard for my PeaceMaker straight up! Keep that Tremoverb...  ;)
