The Mojave too?! Dang dude... how many Axe FX's do you need? I am very interested to hear your take on the Jose clone and your Egnater amp head. Mojave guys are dropping like flys around here. Not me. Unless I find a Jose modded Marshall that sounds like Joe Holmes' Jose's do.

Either the guitar goes or the PM goes, not both... Lets see what I come up with on the Jose/plexi clone and maybe I can help ya out with Holmes tone + plexi tone in one amp...

i just played my eggie rig live last weekend and had fun with it. i still need a midi switcher for my pedals, and need to set up midi control for my eggie head, and eventually get stereo amp and create w/d/w but so far the mono rig cleans are great and the bb preamp gets me some great bluesy dirt with sparkle. plus there is less noise now that the gforce is where it want's to be---in the loop of the eg.


maybe one day i'll transform my gforce into an axe fx...betcha AFX and TOL =

its true - this thing kills thru a poweramp.
Best thing is that looping the Duesen/Diezel-pre (Peter has built most of it) works like a charm. Just make sure to switch off cabs & IMO(most of the) fx (way too much when going into the VHT IMO).
Sounds simply awesome.

My plan is to use it for stereo efx only with my Egnater (and soon my homebrew) line out feeding it and the outs of the Axe-Fx into my VHT 2/50/2 and Mojave stereo cab. I'll also have a dry cab with just the Egnater for kinda w/d/w. Picture this rig without the PM (insert homebrew) and replace the Lexicon MPX-1 with the Axe-Fx!

I'll also use it with amp sims direct for quick jam clips, laying down direct tracks for later reamping, working on ideas/jamming to chord progressions.

Of course the way I'll have it set up, I can also use the Axe-Fx with the amp sims, my poweramp and stereo cab and skip my real amps if the mood strikes...

I'm psych'd, but I need to sell my guitar or PM first - WHO'S BUYING???? STEP RIGHT UP, FELLERS!!!

What's the story on this thing?

I had a white Charvel-clone that looked just like that....when I cut my finger on a broken beer bottle at a gig. Wasn't as pretty the next day though.
