Some dude in one of the groups I’m in over on social media has successfully implemented NAM A2. He said it runs on 58% processor B letting processor A handle all of the effects.

He plans to open source his work but only after making sure he’s safe from a legal perspective. This sounds like what people used to do with old digitech hardware once they were no longer supported.

as an axe fx II XL owner, with zero knowledge of what it takes to receive A2 files,
i hope this means easy to install stuff and better amp tones!

IIRC this is the guy who said the compiler license costs $15k, and so he's AI coding this together as far as he can while the 90 day trial is still alive. So open source won't be the only barrier in play.

My hope would be that he sells the solution back to Fractal or fractal offers to buy out his work or just flat out hire him
