Axe-FX Update - give it to me straight...

All I can say is that I can't get enough of the Dirty Shirley model. At the end of the day, the AX8 sounds pretty goddamn good. Is it exactly like a tube amp, nope. Do I give a fuck, nope.

I recently sat in for a friend who was sick and not a single person came up and said "Hey, that AX8 doesn't sound like a tube amp". I walked in with 2 guitars, the AX8, an EHX 44 Magnum and an EVH 2x12 for stage monitor. Was it perfect? Nope. Did it work? Yep.

Likely going to get the new model AFX2 and MFC101

If it allows me to play more, more often, then it's worth the price of admission.
