I'm still really dig'n my Kemper. The Kemperr is absolutely one of the best pieces of gear I've ever purchased. I have never owned or played an AxeFx so I can't really speak to any aspect except one...competition. I'm so glad that the AxeFx and the Kemper exist at the same time. Great innovations and improvements are spurred by real competition. I'm excited about what's next. It's the "modeling" "profiling" arms race and I freak'n love it!

...We are the beneficiaries...ENJOY!

I'm sorry to say it's the best purchase I've made and if you haven't played one you shouldn't be bashing it. I've played high end tubes the last4-5 years and I don't think I need to go back at this point.

I think the whole Kemper vs. FAS, FAS vs. Kemper stuff, at least on this forum, is all good-natured ribbing.

As mentioned above, Cliff has often been the Pied Piper in slagging the competition. So it's no wonder that people contiue to the FAS crowd. When the FAS supreme leader comes off as a douche, his minions are sure to follow suit.

I have KPA and I think it's great, and I had an AxeFx Ultra and I thought it was great too. The AxeFx is cool, no bashing the product here. What people are goofing on is the Fractal marketing and product/firmware release strategy.

I think the axe is an awesome product. Nothing about axe vs Kemper. . Just good natured poking fun after witnessing years of forum discussions and extreme zealotism / dysfunctional stances. It's great to be excited about the tools. Inspiring. But being deep in the trenches of digital modeling discussions for years, you notice things.

Cliff is a genius, but also a tool

Me personally I am at the point of not caring what people use including myself as these things have gotten so good I've stopped second guessing gear use and just focussing on the creative process more so then te technical how to make it sound better side. It's a good place to be in for sure when considering a direct approach for my uses

Still have itches to buy amps though. They are just fun
