axefx/ ART SL-2 and 16 ohm cabs question

I have 2 4x12 cabs (16ohms). I believe these amps only have 8 ohm out puts on them

Do I need 8 ohm cabs???...or how can I make this work without spending more money?

afaik , 8ohm amp into a 16ohm cab is a "safe" mismatch

my lonestar only had 4 ohm and 8 ohm outputs , the manual even stated for a 16 ohm cab use the 8ohm from the amp

someone else will probably chime in with more tech details, but ideally you would want a matched amp/cab combination
