My band is the backing track. Roy Nichol: vocals, drums, keys; Don Lecompte: bass; Mark Day: guitar.

I used my LP, because Roy wanted it 440hz Aldrich pickups.
AxeFXII USB recording with 4 tracks same performance, 2 are reamps, same preset different cab.

I'm lovin the reamp feature, it couldn't be any cooler!!
NO track eq's or blocking filters used.

Awesome!!

That guy has some pipes and is a better singer then half if not most of the Journey tributes out there!!

Id love to be able to have backing tracks like that to practice to because they are FREAKING awesome!!

Well done bruddah!!

Damn! You keep posting vids like that and your gonna make me want one of those effector unit thingys.

I don't care how many notes a player knows or can play in quick succession, if he ain't got a good vibrato I don't want to listen. You got it man. Very nice vibrato.

Fuckin' Mark... you keep posting great vids like this 'n I'm gonna have to chuck it all & play bass.

Strong work chap!!! Sounds great!!

What an awesome backing track :D

Well, the coolest thing for me is, that Neal probably needed 3 days to set up his equipment in the studio and adjust his sound (just guessing of course), while with this awesome tool all can be done within minutes.

Sounds great as usual, Mark. You rock.

Bastard. ;)

You sound great, your band mates sound great, what else is there to say.

I really appreciate the kind words about my vibrato, I worked on it for many years (and still do, daily). I feel the same way about bending and vibrato, you can play a million notes but if they have no soul, then there is no soul :)

Albeit not a fan of Journey whatsoever, you did nail that song amazingly well and the tone was deeelish
Question, perhaps I'm outta line here but your mentioning you played yer Lester as it needed to be in 440, what was that all about it? I'm guessing your Suhr is downtuned a half step or something?

Cheers,
Mo
