Massive!!

You should re-edit the ending of the video and add that you are wearing purple underwear and that you like long walks on the beach hahaha!! )kidding of course :) )
Great info and I'm glad that you mentioned the off setting of the track because I was wondering how you didn't get phase cancellation on the re-amped tracks given that you use the same performance!!

I dig it

Lol, thanks Gainfreak! Hey how did you know I like long walks on the beach? lol

Reamp that AxeII baby!

Backing track has NO guitars except a little rhythm during The Hellion and main solo section. I overdubbed the Hellion's rhythm and harmony. All the other guitars are ONE performance. I used the re-amp feature via USB direct to Logic Pro 9.

Mark
Mark, just a quick question... What were your amp choices in the grid for this sound?

Again, awesome work!!

Fractal freaked me out by putting one of my presets in the production units. Factory Preset #370 Mark Day's HBE. It's based on the Marsha sim. I used a variation of that preset for the main tracks and I used 370 for the re-amped tracks but with a different cab IR(also stock). Both cab Ir's used were the included OwnHammer.

Wow, part of the Fractal mafia, eh? You've been 'made'

Looking forward to driving one some day - thanks for the 411, and as mentioned, terrific playing Mark.

How does the re-amping feature work on the Axe?

Via USB the AxeII can do 4 tracks at the same time, two Axe processed tracks with amp, cab and FX blocks and two DRY tracks that take the signal right from the AxeII's guitar input jack, no processing.

After you record your performance you playback the dry tracks back into the AxeII via USB. You go to the Axe's I/O menu and choose USB for the main INPUT. So now through your DAW you are playing your performance back into the AxeFX just like you are playing your guitar again. So you can choose a different preset and add two more Axe tracks to your project. With the dry track performance recorded you can add as many more guitar tracks as you want, without having to play your guitar again...very cool stuff.

It makes layering a guitar performance very easy.
