Great clip! Every time I hear your axe clips I get GAS for at least a week
And I loved the 'ryche clips. Mindcrime and Empire have so much meaning to me from when I was just a little youngster. Makes me all warm inside to hear it

i have been skeptical about the axe-fx since its release.

but those are the most convincing tones of a tube amplifier i have ever heard from an axe-fx. ever. period.

that version 9 really made a difference in something, it sounds alot less digital and alot more 3D like.

mark thats truely fucking sick bro. theres no way i would know it wasnt a tubed amplifier with my eyes closed and just listening - minus the drastic clean - lead switchback of course.

what poweramp did you say you were using? you still use your VHT 292?

Man you really need to try the RedWirez IR's especially mixing the new Farfileds. They IMHO make the Axe much less hollow in the mids.

Be sure you download the new Farfields and try mixing them using the mixer from Redwirez. Rogue has come up with some great mixes that he can send you as text files to run in the mixer. IMHO I think they make a really noticeable difference even between the other IR's on the Big Box collection and are huge improvement over the stock cabs in the Axe. It's really worth the effort to give it shot and learn how to do and it's really really easy actually.
