Pretty awesome, thanks for posting. Watched the first few minutes, but will watch later when not working...

What’s with the funky frets on some of the guitars? Is it an intonation thing?

I had to skim through it. 2 plus hours of the same 4-5 people, with no changes in scenery, that I saw, was pretty boring. I think I heard one or two interesting ideas but this basically sums it up.
“I got inspired to start playing at X age for Y reason”
“Went through phase of intense practice”
“I don’t practice like that anymore”
“Bad vibrato.....GTFO”

It started out talking about Swedish folk roots etc but ultimately could be any 4-5 players from any where in the world. I guess it just shows how much as guitar players we have in common but I didn’t get any real Swedishness from it.

Watch 20 minutes and you’ve seen the next two hours as well.

Yeah, those frets are the True Temperament system, it´s a Swedish invention and I think Vai has, or at least had, it on a few guitars.

Didnt watch the whole thing but was wondering why no Yngwie!

If you read the comments, they tried but couldn't reach him....glaring omission, but still very cool video!

This project should’ve been shelved until they were able to reach him and include him. You can’t not include the most famous guitarist your country has ever produced.
That would be like doing the US version of this and not including Eddie.

The people that made it have a patreon account - it wasn’t a major studio etc. I just assumed that their comment was code for one of the following - Their request for an interview was ignored because they weren’t big enough, Yngwie said “no thanks,” or said “sure come on over to the states and we’ll figure something out” and they didn’t have that $$$ in the budget.
