So about 6 weeks ago I lost a good friend at one of my shows.. fuck me what a shit show. Anyway I had cancelled a show for 3 weeks later as it was a bit soon for me. Anyway we had a show last weekend and I knew anything was going to be better than last time. Yup! Was able to use a few new tools. Instead of my SLO100/into my PS100 I used the Caswell. It was probably my best tones that I felt good about without being way too loud. Also this past week I was eyeing a fellow rig talker’s Ibanez guitar that had quite the nice color-since I’m stuck at heart in the 80s hair band era. Made me have gas.. I didn’t find his but I found one even more odd that a few here might have seen. I am an Ibanez guy and back when the original RG series came out (circa late 80s) I went for the RG760 which was just a horrible experience for me. I tried for years to get along with it because it was expensive for me at the time so I was stuck and stupid. I was hoping this experience was different although now being 53, the painful price tag didn’t hurt as much even in the used market. Today for the first time since my last weekend show I pulled the new to me guitar out and started fiddling with it. It’s very close in playability to my jem 777 which I love. The color is just odd enough for me to love. It feels good to get back on the saddle.

This was the write up on it and I was able to get him down to 900 bucks from 1100- worked for me.

I'm so glad you scored this (it was on my radar as well) and you are back in the saddle.
the one Alund was eyeing is the blue 1550M I just happened to grab days earlier, this model came with the "Wizard Prestige" neck profile which has a bit more meat to it than the current Super Wizard HP necks they are seeming slapping on all of the new rg models.
BK's already installed, locking trem stud mod already installed? SWEEET!!! you are good to go
Contrats and enjoy :)
are the stickers staying or going? I kind of like em on there LOL!

I’ll leave them on for now because they fit well but it’s not typical for me. If I play for a good amount of time the sticker might rub my wrist. Motion-friction-time will tell. It goes along well with the season.

Hit by a fucking car while leaving. Not drunk not anything. Just a collision of particles in the universe.
Oh man, that is terrible. I don't even know what to say to that. I am sorry to hear this. So you are saying the car driven by another person ran into your friend physically or your friends car was hit by another car? Either way, that is tragic. I am sorry that happened to you man.

I’ll find the thread as it’s a tad convoluted only because the events leading made a “perfect” butterfly effect I guess. Time heals but scars stay in my mind with regard to the vision of it.
