Pretty much 20-25% off some amps depending on store and some stores are offering lower price than the manufacturers sale price too



Good deals and great amps worth the money IMO and Made in America..... I want that Lynx 50 so bad but yeah even the Hot Cat which is on sale if you don't dig the Lynx..... Cubs on sale too and some others as well


Some places still have the Ocelot for example and that is probably one of the best values but the Hot Cat or Lynx is an amazing bargain for these prices as well as the others.


Hell I think all are 20% off the bat and you can find some stores giving a full 25%....... But yeah stupid deals and stupid good amps IMO. If it's steering me away from another Charvel guitar that is amazing..... You know these things are awesome *_*

I guess these are pushing out some old stock before the newer made in China stuff starts rolling in. I was wondering how long it would take them to drop the all USA stuff, looks like the time has come.

Definitely would grab one of these if I could, doubt they will be close to this price again with the US stuff since the MIC stuff will be around $1500.

The reason I mentioned this was due to some of their amps being made in China now. The holiday thing makes a lot more sense.

Yeah honestly it's above my pay grade sort of and really wanted another San Dimas Pro Mod MIM as they are excellent..... But I think I can rough it out and come up with the money for it....


I'm also a big believer in buying MIA/Made in America and believe made in USA is where it's at...... So I mean may as well lead by example, put my money where my mouth is and get a solid USA amp with this purchase since I haven't gotten an American amp or anything else MIA other than some Dunlop pedals and my Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue.


Was probably going to get another Princeton Reverb Reissue but what's the point already having one. May as well get a different amp meant for high gain and modern high gain and a top quality tube amp at that.


The Katana Artist MKll is great though and I don't see myself getting rid of that. That would still be a solid practice amp and an amp to take out vs my tube amps to play or practice if need be but yeah. Just really after something that is top quality and excellent and these Bad Cats fit the bill.


I know the Ocelot is Made in China. It sounds great too and is more affordable, offers some high end features and seems to be top quality too. What other amps are Made in China that Bad Cat makes?


At full price I believe these Bad Cats are worth it and Made in the USA...... Even better with this discount and figure may as well gopher it.....



I can always pickup another Charvel down the road and I'm happy with the ones I have...... But getting a solid, top quality MIA/Made In USA amp at a solid discount like a Bad Cat is a hard one to pass up.

You are correct - I was thinking of the Ocelot, and what that means for their upcoming line. $1500 MIC amps are not appealing to me whilst there current lineup is very much so.

I conbcur that the amps are a very good bang for the buck - and I also like the designs and overall tones I have heard from them.

I would very much welcome a Bad Cat amp to my line up. I am more disappointed to see something MIC in their lineup whatsoever - keep it all MIA as much as possible for a number of reasons IMO.

I just got an Era 30, kind of a modernized matchless C30. Great amp, made in America hand wired, etc. glad to support them with $ to keep making amps in the U.S.

Yeah me too kind off..... And the Ocelot isnt probably as good as their MIA amps..... And hell their MIA amps are better than even some peoples other high end MIA amps IMO. But I imagine for the price with something like an Ocelot your still getting a top notch amp with some other nice features.


Nothing wrong against Chinese amps and I'm with you as I have an AC15C1 but yeah I'm not busting out north of 1200$ for a Chinese amp or whatever no matter how good it is...... IME the American stuff is just that much better and again not to take away anything from the AC15C1 which I love or to take away from other Chinese amps but yeah...... iME that is the case.


But hell they seem to sell well and are sold out with them now and are only available at places that have them so. So maybe it's worth it for the Bad Cat stuff as it comes with built in Torpedo 2 Notes cab sims and some other nice features as well as the Lo/Hi function that adds a gain stage with a flick of the switch to either channel in Hi mode.


Also compared to other Chinese amps like the Peavey 6505 and 6505 + the Bad Cats cost the same or less and are much better built too...... And they are made in America/USA


IMO their MIA amps even give Mesa Boogie or some others like even Friedman a run for their money given the price point and the quality. For the money IMO you really are getting something phenomenal as far as components go and all that with these.


IMO these are a bit better than even some really nice boutique stuff I've played. Bad Cat kind of takes what an amp is supposed to be to a higher level is the best way I can put it and they aren't charging stupid ass amounts of money with or without a discount. That's what really sold me, I mean these things chew out your basic Vox, Fender, Marshall, Mesa Boogie domestically made or overseas or whatever else like nails for lunch...... It just blows a lot of stuff out there out of the water IMO short of something like a high end Friedman or an Industrial Amps build and stuff like that.


That's a great example for other MIA manufacturers and great for players too.


Everyone else is sort of doing the same old cookie cutter BS..... But Bad Cat really is offering something special here IMO.... Plus as said amazing quality, great price and Made in USA.
