Just a heads up: horrid flu going around up here on our mountain. And now, I'm going back to sleep under a bunch of blankets. The chills are nasty. Wouldn't wish this on anyone.

My doctor said it tends to present as a stomack virus with flu-like symptoms and then migrates to an upper respiratory issue with head congestion and a deep cough. Unfortunately it can last for 3 weeks to a month.

The local deer love my garden but don't like the garlic, yet have no problem pulling it out of the ground everywhere.
I tried to make a sacrifice garden for them to eat from so they don't get into my main one, but they still jump over the fence and destroy stuff.
Same thing with my peppers and onions. Uproot them and leave them to die.
Pretty sure they're just doing it to be aholes.

If you have dogs, cut some fur. Put it in a bucket and let it sit, and then just dump it around your plants

The deer here will annihilate peppers, this much I know. If I don't have staked down fencing around anything I'm growing those little bastards destroy it. Makes me a little less sympathetic at deer season!!!

I do, and have tried pretty much everything. These are troll deer.
Have a sizeable greenhouse, but needs some work. Probably ready for next season, hopefully.
