Badass Suhr PT100 Vid

Like the lead tone a lot ,I have never loved the Suhr rhythm crunch ,always sounded a lil to stiff for me ,Hoping the New Suhr Thorn 40 watt may change that though

Let me rephrase I have not heard a clips Other than maybe Pete thorn of the PT that i liked ,for Marshall crunch
 
Oh no....shredding on a Gibson LPC? Who knew such things were possible......lol
 
Sounds like PT100 just with someone else a lot better playing through it. :lol: :LOL:

Amp sounds good. Dudes got chops :thumbsup:

Sounded a bit like no more tears style playing there at the end.

I demoed my Suhr Modern through the PT100 and thought it smoked! I had no issues with it's feel??? Keep in mind this is the first time I had touched this guitar or amp. Lot's of people walking past with the "you suck! I am a guitar God that just hasn't made it yet" look.

lol ..I actually much prefer you SE black the Doug Burning Rain tone ,its still very open but has some saturation and compression.

Some people hate compression but for my style .more soft touch legato i find the smooth .liquid feel really helps.

and like you thats what i don't hear in the Pt ,its there in The Cameron ,the Freidman and even the SE black more
 
Yeah his SE clips sound great. Cannot wait until i get to play thru one
 
There's a point in any "oh I'm just doing a test" shredder video on youtube where the player flicks to a neck humbucker and busts out some 3-note-per-string alternate picking pattern and my brain just turns off.

Meh. Shitty video, shitty audio, good player. The clip told me nothing other than that the guy playing has some game.
