Very aggressive, Articulate under high gain, fairly balanced eq, pretty tight in the lows, and more compressed than most other pups I have (Painkiller, Miracle man, DD, Nailbomb, Rebel Yell, JW Iron man, Dominion)
They're in my Hyperion, and one of the only guitars I've left as stock (I'm a serial pickup-swapper by trade). They work well with high gain, and are perfect for this guitar. I've given thought to buy a set for a non-Balaguer guitar, until I look in my parts drawer and see all the other unused sets.

I have a hard time with the right adjectives, but yeah, after writing a paragraph, I realized what you wrote above me is pretty accurate. So I'll spare you and others all the extra words.
My Hyperion with the Ferals is pretty much my go-to rhythm guitar for heavier riffs.
How do i order Them & Get Black Covers with Nickel Pole Pieces/Screws? I Can't find anywhere on the site that Allows for Options when ordering the Pickups.
The Feral bridge tuned drop D in the Mahogany Archetype I'm playing is tight and chunky for fast palm mutes rhythm stuff. Definitely a pup that's a bit compressed/saturated compared to the dryness of say Bare knuckles. I like the Feral a lot. Sounds pretty good for mid gain rock tones too! I do boost everything though to get the tightness and attack I like...could never get there with just guitar into amp except with the Savage 120. Even the Painkiller, which is one of the fastest/tightest pups I've played, doesn't get where I want to be straight in.

Yeah man should not be a problem. Never had an issue. My Tartarus has a feral bridge and it’s mahogany body with roasted maple neck. Pretty thick sounding but still tight.
