Both Volumes at about 6 for practices. How similar is the DD to a Super D??? I have a SD in my sexplorer and it is a bit thicker than the Air zone. I think what I need is more output
The custom is more of a hot PAF style pup. Very tight in the lowend. Very crunchy. I have one in a strat and I love it. But I wouldnt call it a ballsy pup. Hot, yes. But not BallsyJakeAC5253":1x82eml5 said:Laurens":1x82eml5 said:SD Distortion would bring more punch and low end, but IMHO it is not very tight in combination with that VHT (I used to own a Pittbull CL 50).
Duncan Distortion would have been my first choice as well, but since you said that, I change my vote to a Duncan Custom.
