Bands you love but have no interest in playing to?

Yea a lot of the nu-metal stuff I don’t particularly care to learn in the guitar. Some of its catchy and I won’t stop listening if some of the hits come on, but I stick to learning predominantly 80s and before stuff.

I’ll never look to learn St. Anger riffs (I like the album though). A lot of technical death metal stuff, meh not my thing.

Jazz standards…lol…I’ll stick to power chords thanks

Hetfield riffing is solid, the tones are heavy (thank you Bob rock, how we miss you in 2023 lol) but it’s the lyrics for me. They’re raw and just uncut. They definitely speak to me. And no not the rap part with lifestyle determines my death style :LOL:

The part at the end of The Unnamed Feeling when he’s just telling everyone to get the fuck away from him…I get that. Sends chills down my spine every time!

For sure, I still remember standing in my buddy’s house listening to the single. Song finishes and I just blurted out, where’s the solo…somehow he had already found out there were no solos and informed me as such. It was a total “does not compute” moment hahaha

Jam bands rule . That’s how I got my nsme . I was in a techdeath bsnd and a hippie jam band . So I’m you too I’m techdeath hippie lol
