Banned from TGP again.....over BS.....

That's my take also.

Squatch is a friend of mine, one of the first friends I made on TGP. I miss seeing him there. I didn't like the rivalry between him and A-Bone, as I think they're both very nice people who unfortunately don't get along.

For what it's worth, I, too, don't get along with a dozen or so of TGP's members, but the ignore button is my fucking bestie over there. Keeps me out of trouble.
 
I'm just going to make an apology to dog shit and saying someone like A-bone and the like are lower than dog shit......


People have more respect for dog shit as they won't step on it.....



But that dude and that type of crowd over there are lower than dirt.... People step on dirt and wont step on dog shit for example and at least it has more respect than either folks like A-Bone or dirt IMO.


Can't have cool people over there now or talk about anything worth a damn thanks to guys like that and type of crowd.

You try to be cool.... not to bother their ass..... you don't go out to find them or could care a rats ass as to what they have to say..... or their worthless and useless opinion and point of view.....


But they can't help but gravitate towards being shity and making BS drama out of nothing.

But it makes sense now and well TGP just can't have cool people there anymore or members that are fun thanks to A-Bone and the rest of the crowd and that clique in the Barbershop or whatever the hell......



And the mods don't seem to give a shit in any event and that's how the forum is being run now it seems in favor of the useless, complacent and just boring/lame/square folk that make up the forum now more than not.
 
Their moderation shifted gears after the forum culture war of 2016 when people on both sides began violently eating their guitars and fucking up the used market

I've found that to be true at TGP, TDPRI, and strat-talk also. Those forums are mostly full of dysfunctional old pussy losers. Once they know you don't believe as they do, regardless of the topic, they look to crucify you for it at every turn even in unrelated threads. I had a few guys flying off the handle at TDPRI when I told them tv was a waste of life and said having cable was like running a septic line into your living room. I told them my family doesn't waste time engaging in passive activities like tv. It was funny how angry that made them. One dumbass even tried to tell me tv wasn't passive entertainment.:LOL:

I don't know IMO a lot of good people at Strat-Talk and that forum is pretty cool IMO.



I'm mainly a Strat-Guy so maybe I have bias but I feel the people there are cool by my book and TDPRI is pretty cool too sometimes once you get past that apparently your tone sucks because your not playing a 52 Tele into a Tweed Bassman :LOL:😎:p

Strat-Talk has some good guys but it also has some guys who are mentally ill senior citizens with insane hypersensitivity. They got mad when Lonn wouldn't ban me for saying the moon landing was fake. They can't handle dissent very well on any of those forums.

Yeah I mean I believe the US landed on the moon but I don't hate people who think otherwise or admonish them for having a different point of view. I may poke fun and even then but other than that, what's it to me if people don't think we landed on the moon you know, I respect their opinion and point over their view :dunno:

I really like squatch too. I had a handful of rivalries over there but most of them got banned long before I did for being dickheads. I even got along with most of the mod staff there. A couple talked me off the ledge a couple times but I eventually went nuclear and left. I do miss it some days but the cliques were outta control for sure
 
There's a gaggle of people there that goad people into replying to their blatant political bait, and then they swoop in and report him to their janny who is extremely biased. A year ago I tested the reporting there with a couple alts/VPN because it irked me a bit. I reported a couple people posting the most blatant leftist political bait possible (one was literally quoting politicians) and none of them except one was removed, none of those posters got banned. Then reported 2 EXTREMELY benign, subtle quips that you could consider 'right wing' and both of those posters got suspensions. So the conversation always can only go one way, they are free to make ad hominems and personal attacks on people they think they are above, like the people that are into UFOs, ancient civilizations and shit. I'm not one to agree with those posts but I don't think they should be allowed to be personally attacked because of it, and janny does nothing about that, so it just makes the place pretty poisonous if you'd engage in any substantive discussion. They are the sort of people that make fun of people that believe in flat Earth and think they are doing some sort of amazing intellectual slam dunk....peak midwits.
I got banned from there for posting statistics (I didn't even write anything, it was literally a link to a health agencies page), and some dumbass Joe Rogan quote that I put in jest. But people regularly write on there that you are a Nazi if you watch Fox News and nothing happens to them. Leftist views can only exist with heavy moderation. Everytime theres a modicum of free speech, it goes right wing.

I kind of like the SoundHound area. The amp section, guitar section, effects sections are extremely boring these days.
TDPRI has more interesting content/posters/knowledge imo, but they are sort of weird stuffy bunch.
