bobtoz mailed this off to me just to try. Thanks Bob. I really like the Keeley SD-1 but was looking for a more aggressive pedal. Bob suggested this one. Well it's not really anymore aggressive IMHO. However... I actually like it more than my Keeley, which I've never experienced before. The BDD is warmer, maybe a hair more compressed. Just a fuller more musical overdrive tone. I think it adds a touch more sustain than the Keeley. I definitely will be adding one of these to my set up in the near future. I would love to A/B this with an OCD. I think this may be the best OD pedal I've every heard

you boosting with this pedal, or into a clean amp?

Tminus 5 months 29days and counting   :D

Whadda ya mean???
Sorry, it was a bad attempt at a joke. You know even if you pick one up soon, it won't last long in your collection.

;) :)

Pedals usually last a fair amount of time with me. Amps... :D

DD is cool with a Marshally amp.

not so cool with Mesa though.

No promises but maybe in the next few days.

I have an old DD, and its my favorite OD pedal. I also have a Keeley TS9DX Flexi that is cool, but went with the DD more.

had the dd and was my main mid gain pedal for a few years until i "upgraded" to the maxon OD820.

i loved the pull/tone sound...the faux dumble :D

The tone pot is a push/pull pot???

Tminus 28 minutes...
j/k, dude.
I know the feeling of "good" ides flying through the head..

"Oh, what I could do with that!"

I used it both ways, but I prefer it pulled. I say used as I have not played a guitar in a looong time. Have none of my stuff at my place at the moment:( Self venting

I think I like it with the Tone knob pushed down but yeah either is very cool.

i saw it like this--

if you want a tighter more focused drive, keep it pushed in.

if you want thicker spongier touch with less grind, pull the control out.

i actually placed some washers under the tone knob so it would stay in the pulled position and not accidentally push in.
