Bare Knuckle Mississippi Queen.....

Immediately replace all neck humbuckers with the MQ. :D :thumbsup: :rock:
 
How would you compare it to some of the more common choices (Duncan '59, Jazz, Pearly Gates, etc)?
 
Very smooth and creamy with buckets of clarity, Fender-y almost chimey top end with a bite. Plenty of output, actually a tiny bit louder than the Air Zone in the bridge. Blends very very nicely with the humbucker with the 3-way in the middle. I'm completely blown away at how nice it sounds.
 
I put a Bare Knuckles Black Dog in my LP and I was just blown away by it. It might be one of the most versatile pickups on the planet, but is certainly no jack of all trades/master of none. It NAILS the Page tone, suffice it to say.

I didn't have much luck with the VHII - anyone else have success with this? Given how good the Black Dog is, I know it must be good, but I just have to figure out if it fits one of my guitars - so if you have had success with it, please let me know what kind of guitar is working with it.

I've got a Heatley Tradition being built that will have a BKP Mule in the bridge and a Mississippi Queen in the neck. It is essentially done and will be here any week now. Can't wait!
 
I have VHII in both my strats and I love them. What didnt you like? IMO the pickup sounds best really close to the strings.

Got a Nailbomb in one of my Juggs, not sure yet what I think of it, I'm so used to my EMGs, I'm having a hard time getting used to it. I'm gonna leave it in for a while and see if it grows on me.
