BBE Boosta Grande

Hello, I have had a Boosta Grande pedal for a few years now, but I noticed last night at band practice that when I use the pedal for solos and then turn it off, my guitar volume drops for some reason. If I remove the BBE pdeal no problems. What could cause the BBE to do this? I also noticed that sometimes the blue light on the BBE fades in and out.

Don't quite understand. Your volume drops while the Boosta Grande is engaged or it drops after you disengage it?
Sounds fried. Any chance you plugged in an improper power supply?

It could possibly be the switch. The BBE pedals are cool but have a bit of a rep for cheap, shoddy switches.
